Malaysians will soon get to enjoy a new range of electric bikes and motorcycles as United E-Motor, an iconic electric motorcycle brand under the wing of Indonesian bicycle manufacturer PT. Terang Dunia Internusa (PT TDI), is set to make its official entry into the Malaysian market. This exciting venture is made possible through the brand’s partnership with Artroniq Bhd, a prominent Malaysian investment holding company, which will serve as United E-Motor’s distributor in the country.
Artroniq Bhd and United E-Motor will celebrate this remarkable milestone with a highly anticipated grand launch event. The event will commence with an introduction to the collaboration between Artroniq Bhd and United E-Motor, followed by addresses from key representatives of PT TDI, Artroniq Bhd, ASEAN Trade, Tourism, and Economic Council (ATEC), Indonesia Retail & Tenant Association (HIPPINDO), and the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia.
The grand launch will take place at the Piazza of Pavilion Bukit Jalil at 2:00 p.m. on 30th October 2023. The event will feature thrilling stunt shows and the public will have the opportunity to test drive United E-Motor’s TX-series models of electric bikes.
With this grand launch, Artroniq Bhd will proudly make available in Malaysia two models of United E-Motor bikes – the TX3000 and TX1800. The TX3000 boasts an impressive performance with a top speed up to 90km/h and a traveling range of 120 km per full charge whereas the TX1800 offers a remarkable 0 – 80% recharge rate within 1.5 hours. Both models feature hydraulic hinged seats, extra-large underseat storage, built in Bluetooth and a dedicated phone app with features such as an SOS button, on/off ignition, Find My Motor, a live dashboard and many more.

United E-Motor, boasting over 50 years of legacy in Indonesia, has partnered with Artroniq Bhd, the Malaysian distributor for this esteemed brand when PT TDI and Artroniq Bhd signed a collaboration agreement on September 2023. Through this partnership, Artroniq not only has the privilege of bringing these incredible motorcycles to Malaysians, but also share in United E-Motor’s cutting-edge proprietary technology and assembly processes here in Malaysia.
As a further milestone, Malaysia is the first country to import this iconic Indonesian brand. Artroniq Bhd will also soon have distribution and experiential concept stores in three locations, with details to be announced next year.
With the brand’s entry into Malaysia, Malaysians now have the tremendous opportunity to travel and get around on these exceptional motorcycles. Notably, these electric bikes served as the official bikes of the G20, having been tested and endorsed by world leaders during the 2022 G20 summit.
With United E-Motor’s stable growth and Artroniq’s capabilities in assembly and distribution of these unique motorcycles, both parties are interested in taking their partnership to new heights by venturing into electric motorcycle battery and charger manufacturing and e-battery swapping kiosks.
